A Personal Message on Our Cruise Crash Report

Last week we released Part 1 of our report on Cruise’s June 3rd crash involving the removal of the Safety Drivers from their AVs. We felt it was important to have our CEO, Michael Woon, discuss the motivations and goals for this report. Retrospect’s mission is to support AV developers through products and analytics that provide meaningful feedback on the AV’s safety margins. We would much rather provide proactive evidence of safety than retrospective evidence of failure.
